Eligibility Requirements:

- One application per household. You must be the child’s parent or legal guardian and list all household members living with you full-time.

- Repeat families are not eligible. If you have received our services before, you may not apply for three years.

- Volunteer Requirement: A minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service is required at any BCA Hub Youth and Resource events in October or November. Failure to complete this requirement by November 24 will void your application.

- Wishing Tree Program: For children ages 0-12 ONLY. This is open only to families already approved for the Holiday Assistance Program.

Required Documents:

1. Identification & Proof of Residency

- Valid driver’s license or state ID

- Recent utility bill with your current address (for Santa’s occasional surprise home visits)

2. Proof of Financial Eligibility

- If receiving SNAP/medical card:

- Verification letter showing your SNAP benefit amount and case names

- Medical cards for each family member

- If not receiving SNAP/medical card:

- Proof of income from the last 30 days (e.g., pay stubs, employer payroll report)

3. Detailed Information for Each Child

- Include the full name and age of EACH child in the application. Missing information will result in a denied application.

Application Process:

1. Application Submission

- Applications must be completed online by November 11, 2024. No late applications will be accepted.

- Ensure all required information is complete and accurate. Missing or incorrect information will lead to automatic denial.

2. Approval Notification

- If approved, a Hub Angel will contact you Between November 15th and no later than December 10, 2024, with your interview date and time. DO NOT call, DM, or email regarding the application status.

- No-shows or cancellations for the in-person interview will void your application without exception.

3. Interview & Document Verification

- Attend your in-person interview with all required documents.

- If you do not hear from us by December 10th, this simply means that you have not qualified.

4. Important Notes

- Applications submitted to multiple agencies will be denied. The BCA Hub Angels cross-check with other local organizations.

- Social Media: Posting assistance requests on social media after being approved by BCA will result in removal from our program. We have Angels monitoring local groups to ensure honesty and integrity.

5. Confidentiality

- All information provided is kept confidential and is used only for eligibility verification purposes.

Upon acceptance, you will be assigned a BCA Angel’s family number for program participation.

Our programs are entirely self-funded; we don’t receive government assistance or grants. We’re moms, just like you, with stories and experiences similar to the ones you share with us.
